  • I reached out to the Director of Marketing and Communications at the City of Carrollton for an informational interview, and during our conversation, she suggested a collaboration aimed at gaining more insight into the experiences prospective students have and my life as a student on campus.

  • This collaboration aims to:

    • Gain valuable insights into the city's growth initiatives and ongoing projects.

    • Learn firsthand about the city's marketing strategies and their evolution over time.

    • Contribute to a mutually beneficial project that leverages the strengths of both entities.

Timeline:

  • Mid-February:

    • Schedule and conduct another meeting with the City of Carrollton’s Marketing and Communications Director.

    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the department's current marketing activities and strategies.

    • Explore the evolution of marketing within the City of Carrollton, identifying key trends and challenges.

    • Begin brainstorming potential project ideas and areas of collaboration that align with the goals of both the city and the university.
